Tarifa is the most southern town of Europe. It lies on the Straits of Gibraltar, between the Mediterranean and Atlantic. The coast of Africa is 14 km away. From the port of Tarifa there are daily ferry's to Tangier in Morocco. The whale-watching tours take off here as well to observe the mammals in the Straits.
